Benni is a computational biologist and data scientist with more than nine years of experience generating data-driven insights across biotech and academia, with more than seven peer-reviewed publications. At Vibe Bio, he serves as Senior Manager of AI Analysis and Evaluation, leading quality control and supporting product development for VibeOne, Vibe Bio’s AI-powered due diligence platform.

Previously, at Genentech, Benni was a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology & Translation, where he led bioinformatics and clinical data analyses for an FDA-approved lupus nephritis drug. His work resulted in three presentations and publications at major international rheumatology conferences and helped inform the drug’s competitive clinical positioning.

Benni earned his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Data-Driven Methods from the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information.
