Description
Vibe Bio is seeking a Senior Manager or Director-level Subject Matter Expert to join our Delivery team and lead client engagements at the intersection of clinical drug development and AI-enabled decision support. This individual will serve as the engagement lead, owning client delivery end-to-end while translating clinical and scientific questions into clear execution plans and AI-driven deliverables.
The role is highly hands-on and requires close collaboration with Vibe’s internal engineering team to develop, test, and refine AI models, workflows and prompts that drive high-quality, defensible outputs for clients. This individual will be working at the intersection of important pharma decisions, generative AI, and product development and operate within an established Delivery function, with operational and project support, and will report directly to the Head of Delivery.
What You’ll Do (but is not limited to)
- Lead client engagements as a primary engagement lead within the Delivery team
- Translate client clinical and drug development questions into structured execution and analysis plans suitable for AI-enabled workflows
- Collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to design and refine Vibe’s AI, VibeOne.
- Validate and quality-control AI outputs for clinical relevance and decision readiness
- Lead client meetings and present insights clearly to support decision-making
- Partner with Delivery operations and project support resources to ensure smooth execution
- Contribute to internal best practices and reusable delivery frameworks
- Support light product development by identifying recurring client needs
Your Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a life sciences or clinical discipline (Masters, PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent)
- Strong background in clinical and drug development
- Prior CRO experience preferred; AI-enabled CRO or platform experience highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, ML models, or AI decision-support tools
- Experience with prompt engineering, iteration, and AI output validation/QC
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering and technical teams
- Startup or fast-paced environment experience preferred
- Excellent client-facing communication and delivery leadership skills
