About Vibe Bio

At Vibe Bio, we see AI not just as a tool, but as a revolutionary force reshaping the future of drug development. By harnessing its immense predictive power, AI accelerates the discovery and development of new treatments, drastically reducing the time and cost traditionally associated with these processes. With AI, we can analyze vast datasets to identify potential drug candidates, predict their efficacy, and foresee side effects, making the R&D process more efficient and effective. This means faster, more informed funding decisions that propel game-changing therapies across the finish line. For us, AI drug diligence isn’t just the future, it’s the now – the key to unlocking life-saving innovations and bringing hope to patients sooner than ever before.

Vibe Bio is a remote-first, fast growing company with new job postings added on a regular basis. We welcome applications from talented people ready to build a community committed to identifying promising treatments.

Who we are looking for

Full-Stack Engineer

Description

Vibe Bio is reimagining a broken drug development process by building a pipeline analysis platform fueled by artificial intelligence and multi-modal large language models—built for better, faster, decisions. We’re seeking a Full-Stack Developer for our Product & Engineering team, who will work to create scalable, defect-free, and intuitive tools in service of our clients’ needs. This role is responsible for building the core interfaces essential to pipeline analysis, including data extraction and summarization as well as programmatic risk assessment generation. This is a standard full-stack role, not a machine learning or data science role.

This is a remote role. Our team is spread across the country! Extra points for being located in the northeast US, since a large portion of our team is also located there and it makes occasional (i.e. monthly or so)  in-person collaboration easier.

Compensation

Salary and equity commensurate with experience

What You’ll Do (but not limited to)

  • Be an essential part of our founding product team, working closely with our Director of Product to develop and expand our core product.
  • Work with our existing tech stack, with an eye towards scalability & best practices, as well as identify the systems and standards we should integrate with or build ourselves.
  • Architect scalable designs, implementation processes, and deployment pipelines.
  • Build a culture that minimizes development friction with investments in tooling, testing, engineering-owned DevOps, and peer support.
  • Implement and manage existing large-language models within our software via their respective APIs, including ChatGPT.

Your Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of full-stack software engineering experience, ideally using common front-end frameworks & tools such as React, and common backend or database tools including AWS. Comfortable working in a highly dynamic remote startup environment with mission-driven teammates. We’re building something new—ideal candidates will be comfortable working with uncertainty and change.
  • Experience building applications from the ground up, including making decisions about which front-end technologies to employ.
  • Passion for team- and process-building that emphasizes quality while centering both our users and our development team
  • Experience with or working knowledge of LLMs and their standard mechanics, such as tokenization, RAG, and context windows.
  • Nice to have: Experience working with vectorization and vector databases.
